• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

So my new to me Classic arrived yesterday afternoon, amazingly packaged extremely well. The rifle is an 06 and in better than described condition, not a mark anywhere. I’m not sure if rings have ever been installed. I really like the fact it has a factory front sight.

Thanks much @deersako, very pleased and it was a great bargain as well. I gave my son a nice one a couple years back and told myself if I crossed paths with another I’d grab it. It’s very comfortable and lighter than one might think.

Great looking wood on that one. Which has the better wood, yours or sons ? If his is better then your family has two great looking rifles.

Thanks @gunner620, honestly I’d give his rifle an edge because it’s vividly figured on both sides from end to end. Mine might be more dramatic in the butt. The old thread from below shows his, so you be the judge. Thanks again.

Great find,
Great rifle & wood figure, all for a great family.
Wishing you all the best, but you already have it!
Merry Christmas to all ! B/T

Absolutely stunning! Some of the very best wood I've ever seen on a Sako. The Classic is, in my book, the very best regular production Sako. Carry it with pride, and take it out and shoot something!
