• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

When I load this site, there is no indication that I am logged in. When I click the log in button, a message appears telling me I am already logged in, but there is no indication of this until I navigate to a specific forum. Confused.

Try “refresh”. I’ve noticed same thing but seems to need to reload, if that is the term.

I believe some changes were made to the site a while back. When I open the site I’m logged in automatically. I don’t need to use my old login credentials and password anymore. An easy way to determine is once the site is open scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see your logged in and others who are logged in as well.

I'm logged in automatically too, but when I first navigate to the site, there is no indication that I am logged in anywhere on the page, not at the top, not at the bottom, UNTIL I open a forum, any forum. Curiously, Spaher's suggestion worked though.
Admins, I'm not complaining, just pointing out a possible bug.

Can you please do the following?
1) Check if you are not logged in, take note of the URL
2) Once it shows you are logged in, please post the URL.

I want to check if the URL is the same. Maybe the system shows you are a guest because you are using www while you are logged in the non-www version.

Excuse my delay. Life gets in the way sometimes.
In the navigation bar I am seeing https://sakocollectors com/forum
Spahers suggestion worked. I hit the refresh button and my user name and avatar now appear in the upper right when the site loads. I did that while using the Apple product, and somehow it also corrected the same issue with the PC, without having to do anything with the PC.
