Cabellas Owatonna HAD a Triace today. I called on it, but lonnng gone. I never expected to see one, much less for half-price.

But only one calibre? Were they sold new with less than three barrels?
They show up over this side of the pond on Egun.de occasionally, but never with all three barrels.

The Triace at Cabellas is missing two barrels . . . it looks like it had all the clips. It looks like the grips have been altered.

Missing barrels, huh? Grips whittled, too? Thanks for the info. Now I'll know what to look for next time, which will probably be never? I just can't believe I ran across one at all.

What did you think of the price as it was?

Well . . . L61R has written about them being sold in Europe at a much lower price. There was a complete set in Texas that StoneCreek knew about for $3000.00 With both 22 barrels missing I think $1000.00 is too high . . . but I'm not looking for a Triace. I think emereth was looking this spring. . . . maybe he will lets us know about the price.

Yeah, I was the first one on the waiting list but it sold. Even with only the one barrel, I thought it was a good deal. Or at least one that I was comfortable with. I did speak with the guy at cabelas and he was very confident the gun was unalter. I do not know this as fact because I have never touched a triace. I hope the new owner is a friend the site and posts once he gets the gun on how he likes it.
