For sale ($1200.) or trade for early Sako rifles (L46/461 fullstocks preferred.)

Victorian-era English .256 Mannlicher Rimmed (6.5x53R ). Built on a Model 1892(dated 1893) Steyr made action. 26 in. barrel is stamped: "SHOT & REGULATED BY ARMY & NAVY. C. S. L. LONDON." British express rear sights. Rare fold down front sight hood (locks in place), Buffalo horn forend cap. English straight grip stock. In typical English fashion the buttstock has been shortened and then reattached. Wood "buttplate" is carved from stock. English hook type sling rings. Blue is approx. 90%. Checkering is in good condition. Various Victorian English proofmarks. Overall very good condition. Bore is good. Comes with loading clips and brass.
