• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hello all,
Wondering if any of you all was going to the Tulsa spring show this year. Thought we could meet somewhere or at someones table and shoot the breeze. I'll be there both days. Hope to see ya.
Travis.

I am going to Tulsa, the show is April 3 and 4, with most of the action taking place on Friday, the 2nd. My table is on the upper level near the food stand. The table is 11D4, and has an American flag table cover. Anyone strolling by, please stop and introduce yourself. I may not have any Sakos on the table this time, as my stock has been depleted over the winter. May be a good time to buy.

The BATFE handed out a flyer last fall, with a list of rules and regulations about gun show transfers, and made it clear anyone violating these rules will walk out in 'cuffs. The basics are as follows:

Out of State Dealers can buy from anyone, but may not sell a gun at the show, must take gun home and ship it to a FFL.

Out of State Non-Licensed Residents can buy only from FFLs licensed in the state, can sell to any FFL, cannot sell to non-licensed individuals.

Most of the guys I know with Sakos at Tulsa are from out of state, Tennesee, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Mississippi, Missouri, Idaho, Montana and New Mexico. Don't risk it, take it home and ship it to that individual. Don't let the BATFE make an example out of you. Find a dealer and do it by the book You can find the complete notice at:

See you at Tulsa!
