I know the Whitetail is sort of a forgotten model with the popularity of the T3, but is there really all that much difference?

I have a stainless/synthetic Whitetail in .300 Win Mag that I keep as a loaner and bad weather gun, but it is a very nice rifle and I would not be afraid to own another.

I actually prefer the White tail models. (695-595) At that time they had two action sizes not just one like the t3's one size fits all approach. I also like the stock better on the Whitetails which is much closer to the sako hunter stock with the palm swell. The actions on the 595-695s are slick too.
