• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Friend called this morning and said his new TRG-42 in 338 Lapua Mag is in, he's got 3 boxes of new factory ammo, temp is 65* and sunny, we're going to the range. He's been holding this buy close to the vest, just telling us(friends) a little at a time. I know little to nothing about the TRG's except they carry a hefty price tag and he's telling me that between the Night Force scope, rifle, and rings he has 6K in it!!! Told him it must have a 2lb solid gold muzzle brake on it, he ignored me. Our goal is to break it in and try to determine which factory ammo shoots in it. He says he has Lapua, Nosler, and Cor Bon, I didn't know Cor Bon even made rifle ammo. He also informed me that he has 275.00 in this 60 rounds of ammo, is that possible? My friend has a tendancy to flinch on his 6.5-284, I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction when he lights off a 300gr load. Any TRG-42 shooter out there shooting this chambering, how good are they?

I'm prefer Lapua brass. $4.58 per shot is pretty cheap for factory. When you get to 90+gns of powder the gun will start moving even with the brake. 1:10 twist i presume. The gun will outshoot me, but i'm still playing
