Ebay is usually a good source for a replacement stock. You might have to wait a little while but eventually a stock will show up.

A stock designated for an L61R or A-III will fit (an early L61R stock might need the barrel channel very slightly enlarged since the early L61R had a slimmer barrel).

A stock for an A-V will fit EXCEPT for the A-V having a longer upper tang (the upper part of the receiver to which the rear action screw attaches). An A-V stock can be used, but there will be about a quarter-inch gap behind the tang of an A-III action. This can be filled with wood putty and stained to match the wood (or painted to match a synthetic stock.)

No other Sako stocks will fit.
