• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

I have a set trigger in my Mod 85, 204 Ruger and love it. I would like to find one for a Mod 75 6mm PPC. I have Canjar single set triggers in several older Sako's and enjoy them. All my Sako triggers work fine, but I do like set triggers. Can anyone suggest where to aquire a set trigger for my 75.
Thanks

Bernard makes a nice Tika target triggers, that may work. They fit TRG' s with no work required. The trigger guards need to be worked on to make them fit. The Bernard triggers are great, You can get them from Mac Tilton at MT guns Santa Barbra Cal. I have a couple on some older Sako, (older Sako's require some sear work, but it is worth it).

I talked to JB, nice guy, and yes they have Model 75 set triggers.

Thanks you for the information.

I have been into his shop many times and he has almost everything for both old and new Sakos. Lots of stocks, barrels, custom sako rifles and factory Sako rifles. I bought a set trigger from him for my Model 75 6PPC and have no regrets. Also had the the stock pillar bedded and it shoots like a bench rifle. Good luck on your purchase

Thanks for the info. I did get a price. $460 is a little more than I want to spend at this point. My Model 75 6PPC shoots great with out a set trigger. JB does have a lot of Sako parts, would love to go there. A little far for an old retired guy.
