1. Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

To help us evolve and maintain the website and to set up and run the new Factory Records Services, the Sako Collectors Club has now become a U.S. official Non-Profit Association with the aim to promote the knowledge of Sako history, Sako firearms, ammunition and all other products associated with Sako. It includes all Sako products not currently in production.

This means that all of the Non-Profit organization´s revenue will and must be used to further the public purposes of Sako Collectors Club according to U.S. law, and that no individual will personally profit from the Sako Collectors Club activities.

Due to the high costs of preserving and converting the old Factory Records, for the costs of running the Factory Services and for maintaining the SCC forums will we have to ask for a nominal donation in return for the requested information. This donation fee will be incurred when requesting information about rifles based upon their serial numbers and is necessary to reimburse the person(s) searching the files for information as well as all the other costs mentioned above.

The forum will of course always stay free of charge as it always has been.

We will make the general information from the files available on the forum, on a regular basis. This information will be posted in The Members Zone on the SCC forums.

Please visit http://www.sakocollectors.com/forum/forums/the-member-zone.92/ for more information.
