Just was wondering if anyone has, or have seen a Riihimaki stamped HB in 222 Magnum? I have a couple HB's
in this caliber, a 469, and 461 but have not seen a Riihimaki stamped one.

I also have a few .222 Magnums including the L469 HB but I don’t recall seeing one with the Riihimaki stamp. Does your L469 have a serial number in the 45,000 range? The few L469’s I have seen always seem to be in that ballpark.

Yes, my HB L469 is in the 45,000 range. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully others will chime in a Riihimaki stamped one.

I have a L-46 Riihimaki HB in 222 Mag S/N 55353. It was set up as wifes' prairie dog rifle with a 10 power Lyman All American on it. Thought I had images of it but not on this laptop. It is probably 95% t0 98%

I have a L46 but will have to check to see if it is a HB. That will take some time.

    Hello OhioWayne, Thanks for replying.

I have heard of an L46 HB in 222 magnum but I'm still waiting to see if anybody has seen a Riihimaki stamped one.

BTW I sent you a PM, check your mail box.

Hi Rick, L46 and the L469's are not the easiest to find in a HB but they are out there.

I have always wondered in any of the Riihimaki's were made in 222 Magnum. They probably were not since I believe that the Magnum cartridge came out after they were done with
    making the Riihimaki's.

But I have stumble upon a HB Riihimaki in 222 mag. So I was just trying to find out from other Sako collectors if they have seen one. This would be the first on that I've seen.

I'm probably going to have to go thru the collection and note HB on the rifles that are of that configuration. Nothing like making work for the cripple.

Thanks Deuce looking at your HB for me.

So I guess that maybe it isn't hat difficult to find a HB Riihimaki in 222 Magnum.
