Sako Rigby in 375 H&H they made very few during the 70's by Roberts, there were 3 in 458Win one I know of in 243 Win but this would be one of the only I have seen in 375 H&H.

They devalued a fine rifle, what an amateur job.

I don't think its that bad at all, it's a part of history when ivory was banned and its still very rare twinning of Sako and Rigby, given that Rigby still command a good reputation. It performs and its just another era thats very under represented when hunting become frowned upon.

For sure, obviously a quality build, but also rare and typically anything associated with Rigby commands premium dollars.

Is this flat top checkering intended to run across the borders?

    Something's a bit......off.........
