I bought an extra stock for an M78 Hornet several years ago from a different source. I cut it down for a grandson to use and he killed his first turkey with it. I now have a couple of Sakos (one is an L461) with two stocks, one full length and the other youth size. They make really nice, trim rifles for young-uns, and unlike a lot of "youth" rifles are accurate, to boot.

That is very nice. Mine a long time ago was cut to put a thin pad on and I wanted a factory uncut one. The one I have it in now is nice and I'll put it on here to sell when I get the new one. JIM

YAHOO I got the new stock from gun parts yesterday. It is very nice and fits great. NOS it does have 4 or 5 small places on the checkering I am going to fix but there easy fixes. So now I have a 78 Hornet stock USED for sale it is standard length but with a black 3/4 inch pad on it. I would sell for 100.00 if you would like a picture of it please e mail me jdfgunfixr@gmail.com Thank you JIM FLYNN

    Jim,
Would suggest the you post some photos of your stock for sale. It isn't hard -- just click on "Upload a File" then click on the photo on your computer. I'd suggest displaying it full size -- but 800 or so pixels in width is plenty.
