    Hi Guys

Does anyone have a heavy barrel L461 running a swaro Z3 3-10 in original sako high mounts? Curious to know if you can get enough clearance with the 42mm objective on a heavy barrel using the original sako high mounts.

    Cheers John

Hi John, not a Swarovski, but I’m using the original highs on my AI HB .17rem with a Leupold 6.5-20x40 AO. There is just enough clearance.

Thanks mate. Just wondering if the swaro 42mm might fit. I can try it but means removing a few scope/ringmount combo's and I'm hoping someone may already have this setup and can confirm.

If I have to go non sako I think I'll go fully old school with hilvers and a kahles 8x56.

I just happen to have a Hillver bridge mount and 1" rings to suit an 8x56 and an A1 L461 HB presents as new

Thanks 6x47. I’ve got the rifle but waiting on the PTA. Also got some hilvers too, but I’m hoping the swaro may fit on the original sako ringmounts.
