G'day from Queensland Australia. New member with a passion for collecting 303s. Just purchased a Sako Enfield in 243 and looking at converting it to a full wood just as I do for 303 rifles that have been sportisied.

Welcome mate, love to see some of the collection. I don't currently own any 303 but it's a calibre that I think most of us in Australia that have an interest in our country and history love and think fondly of. Love to see some of your work and certainly the Sako Enfield.

I will get some photos of the Sako. Bought is as it is just a little different and from what I understand collectable and as such have to learn the history of these firearms and why they were converted. Going to shoot it soon and compare it with my other 243 which is new and unfired. Will have to learn how to take video.

Roger here are some snaps of the Sako Enfield. Is there any specific history on this firearm, why, where etc. I have a few books written by Ian Skinnerton on the 303's and if you have not invested in my opinion you should. I also own a Martini Henry and 310 Cadet Unfired by me as yet.

Lovely! Cheers for sharing. She's pretty. Love to hear how accurate you can get it to shoot.

Here is my Sako Enfield serial no 1210. Would like to locate the plate that fits the action to allow a scope to be fitted if I wanted to. I have a new Howa 243 unfired so will be interesting to see how they compare.
