• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

I have a Sako Finnbear Deluxe in .30-06 99% with an aperature site. I'm talking with a gentleman who'd like to trade his SAKO deluxe A11 forester CAL 22.250 100% UNFIRED for it. What do you guys think about this trade? Are we looking at comparable value here? I have several SAKO's and despite all the controversy, I like my M75 243 very much.

Guy, I would do it in a heartbeat. The AII deluxe in 22-250 is much more desirable in my book - both rifle and caliber. P.S. thanks for the Taliban joke.

I think I'd really like to keep this 22-250. Its being sent and he wants my 30-06 as its a pre 71 and that means something to his collector interest.

Hello Guy, I just happened to be stumbling around the old message board when I read that you have a M75 in .243. What kind of accuracy do you get out of it? I'm just curious because if I can't find a nice AII .243, I'm going to get the 75. Since you have experience with both rifles what your take on the two in comparison? Thanks Chris

I'm able to get very good accuracy with my 75 in 243. However, I admit that my AV's in 308 and 300 seem to be a bit more accurate. Thats not scientific because all I'm doing with the 75 is full length resizing and I'm using a standard overall length. Considering that its just as good as my AV's for which I neck size and increase the overall length of the cartridge. I'm very pleased overall and even my friends who prefer traditional American rifles like my Sako 75. I can do .75 MOA for 5 using a Hornady 100 SP over RL-19 at 3000 fps. Last weekend I was shooting my 75 at silluettes ranging from 100 to 300 yards and it was very accurate and fed everything proper.

How much is a Sako L571 in 22-250 worth. Rifle has approximately 300 rounds through it and has been glass bedded? The previous trade did not work out so this is a second attempt?
