    A Sako All in .308 with a varmint stock (orginaly a short mannlicher). It is a very handy tool for hunting in the norwegian mountains. The lynx came in at 30 yards. 20200222_193544.jpg

    Wow! That's a big cat. I didn't realize just how much bigger they are than their bobcat cousins we have in the U.S. Any idea how much it would weigh?

    Yes. The weight on this cat is 40 pound(19,5 kg.). It is normaly for a grown up male in the south Norway.

    Nice and looks like no fur damage on this side for a 30 cal. What bullet did you use?

    The bullet went in on "this" side. But no big damage on the other side. I used Sako hammerhead 180 gr. The rifle likes heavy bullets. The lynx will be mounted on the wall like the one in the pic. 20200105_101741.jpg
