• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi All,

I was a member of SCC when it was hosted on the MSN network? I've recently signed up for the NEW site under the same name of Anschuter2013.

I'm looking for a bit of history on my Sako 6PPC B128. I know it's a long shot (pun intended) but I wonder if anyone here owned it or knows who did?

Best Regards,

Mike

Mike,
Welcome back! Sounds like you have a rifle of interest, there. Should be lots of comments forthcoming. this form can get pretty active.
If you don't mind, I am going to delete your double post. It happens all the time - no worries.
Glad you are back. I'm and old new guy and a Sako lover to the core. Lok forward to hearing from you online.

Ok on the double post. I didn't know it would be considered a double post if it was placed in Two separate forums.

Just a thought...it probably would have made more sense to delete the "general" post than to delete the post placed in "Sako Short Actions", as it would have been viewed more often and probably by the right people?

Best Regards,

Mike

Ok Mike moved you to the short action department.

I can't help much with info on your PPC, but imagine some members will chime in. I do know there are a number of discussions archived in the shot action catagory, if you want to browse back through them.

Welcome back - Dick
