• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

I had JB at Accuflite build me a 6.5x47 Lapua Pistol. This "Little Thumper" can shoot better than some other full rifle customs I own. I especially wanted this caliber for deer sized game for PA hunting. This Pistol will shoot 155 Grain Lapua Mega hunting bullets in one regged hole at 100 yards.

pciriello,
Welcome to the forum. I know JB a little. How about posting a picture of this custom "Little Thumper".
Glad to have you on board.

West Virginia here.

Have you shot anything with it besides paper?
I'd be interested in seeing a pic and comparing load data.
Here is my Ultra Light Arms with a 17" Douglas barrel in 6.5x47 Lapua.

Now that's what you need to take on a little walk in the evenings down here in SC:bigsmile3:.
Very nice.

Howdy, resurrecting an old thread. I'm currently looking at a similar gun at an auction. Can you tell me, a. how does the 6.5 fit in the receiver? do you have to angle insert the round? Free ejection? and how much bolt face rim is left after opening it up to .473. Interested why you went with L461 and not an L579...?

Thank,

Gary
