• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Redfield bases for Finnwolf

I have a Finnwolf in 243 serial no. around 10000.
Years ago I
managed to find a redfield two piece base for it on ebay. But according
to the redfield catalogue they only ever made a one piece base to fit
the win 88/100/finnwolf.
Does anyone else have one of these, and if so, do you know the part number for it.

Chris- I have been able to find two sets of Leupold 2pc. mounts for 2 of my Finnwolfs. I found those on Ebay because I don't think they are made anymore. They are the same as the model 88 and 100 Winchester mounts. I think I just saw a set on one of the auction sites. I will keep a lookout for you and I will go thru my Brownells cat. to see if they may have some now.( they say there are round top Sako mts. but those are for FN (mauser) sakos- I do have two sets of custom made mount bases for the Redfield, Leupold, ETC turn in /Windage adj. Mounts- They are in great shape and work real well. Let me know if they might work for you and I will give you a price and some pictures.--Misako
 
I have a NIB set of 2 pc redfield bases. Box reads: SR SF 2-piece scope mount base Sako Finnwolf(part number 512019). Not for sale, will use them on my finnwolf if I can't find a set of factory original bases.
