    Just saw one of these for sale for 900aud
    Good to v good condition
    Is this a fair price
    What sort of accuracy should I expect

    The .22 WMR is the scarcest of the P-72's and would bring at least that price in U$D in the states. So in terms of Australian dollars it sounds like an attractive price, depending on actual condition, of course.

    I own a P-72 and as with most rimfires its accuracy depends which ammunition it "likes" -- and whether the wind is blowing. With the right ammunition you can expect half-inch groups at 50 yards.

    Offering up a high enough bounty on this forum . . . should get you some results. The rear sights are very hard to find . . .

    The rear sight on the Model 72 was made by Williams and I think that Williams can provide you with a replacement. They had a guy there a few years ago who was really good about knowing which sights went with which guns, but I think he may have retired. At any rate, you can contact Williams though their website at http://www.williamsgunsight.com/
