• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hey all
Here are some photo's of my recent acquisition. Post-72 L61R Finnbear Mannlicher, 7mm Mag., SN 76430, two-lug bolt with receiver milled for two-lug, fixed swivels, checkered dovetails, NO import stamp. Garcia dropped the Mannlicher for import to the U.S. in 1972 and did not import a Mannlicher until the Model 74 in 1974 which was only chambered for .30-06. I have never seen one or knew they existed.
Regards, Will

Will,
Very nice. I would even like to have that one. Just goes to show you that even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while:bigsmile3:.

Will- That's a terrific looking Sako. Congrats! and SA.- Looking forward to pics of the "older than dirt" L46-Misako

Misako,
Stone's got me beat in the "older than dirt" department. His is a product of when they allowed drinking in the factory and the safety is on the left side. All kidding aside, this has the original peep site and all the bluing, including peep is as brand new, and not a blem on anything. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
Thanks,
S-A
