    Hello All,
I'm Bob Stahl and own Colorado Custom Cartridge Co. LLC. in Colorado, USA. I'm brand new and was asked to introduce myself. We are class 01 & 06 ammunition manufacture. Over 300 old, rare, discontinued calibers. So, question for all. 7x33 Sako ammo. Needs, thoughts, brass, loaded ammo? Trying to get a feel for what folks may be looking for.
Look forward to your replies. Bob

    Welcome, Bob!

There aren't too many of us with 7x33 rifles, but those of us who have one are starved for a source of ammunition and components. I don't think that Sako has distributed any 7x33 ammunition in the U.S. for decades now, and only a few people have been able to get hold of a little of the Bertram brass made in Australia. I'm a reloader and would love to buy some brass and bullets, but I suspect that most of the 7x33 owners would most appreciate having loaded ammunition.

Do you have a website? If so please post it since many shooters here are interested in much more than just 7x33 Sako.

Hi raaimanparoni thanks for posting this. I am just wondering how you know this? Its interesting as when you run this through Quickload its certainly showing it as above maximum load. Quickload isn't perfect though. When I've pulled factory loads see http://sakocollectors.com/forum/threads/7x33-sako-build.8784/page-3 I've always found they contain 16 gr of powder. Could it be 16 gr not 16.5?
If you have some confirmed inside information from the factory that would be good to know;)

    Hi

I have a Sako loading table for Sako factory loads. It gives 16.5gr /1.07g Vihtavuori N 110 for both sp and fmj bullets ( vel 740m/s)
Sako dont publish factory loads anymore but they are always near maximum

I dont know what primer Sako uses

I have old loading manual that gives max load 16.2gr for Vihtavuori N 110 (vel 720m/s and pmax 2800bar) and max load 21.0gr for Vihtavuori N 120 powder (vel 800m/s and pmax 2700 bar)

They uses Vihtavuori 22 primer, but Vihtavuori don't make primers anymore

I have used Sako factory load in my own gun and it worked ok

    I use Federal sr primer

I hope this helps you to reload your ammo for Sako 7x33

Great info raimanparoni. Any chance you could scan the loading table or take a photo of it and post it up here to have a look for us all? I've never seen any reloading data from sako on the 7x33. I have the below pamphlet but it only gives trajectories of the rounds - no load data. I would love to see something from sako that lists their load data.
