• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi, new here, have introduced myself on the new members section.
I have just got a 22/32 from Holts Auctions in the UK. It’s going to be a few months till I actually get my hands on the pistol so will be doing lots of reading here and then will probably be looking for help and advice to keep it running well.
Bit of a leap of faith as our system does not allow me to test before purchase and thre is no condition report, so sold as seen, wish me luck.
Couple of photos from the sales site for now, if anyone recognises the control stickers on the grip maybe you would be able to give me a bit more history on this set.
I have also included a photo of some of the other pistols from my collection. All are shooters and used, 6E0EDC90-46EC-4778-8586-520B90BB493F.png B686D9B9-322F-41B1-9FD0-680B078ED5C7.png 4AE0AB2D-9958-4E1D-AEEA-30C7D361463E.jpeg

Cool collection of Target pistols!
I’ve always been interested in the Walther designs…OSP and GSP models. Do you prefer short or long rifle models?
What is a good market value for used models in your area?

Long rifle is more reliable, I spend time finding batches that are just right, not to fast not to slow for the shorts. These are just the .22 shorts.
There is no market value in these, as there is no open market for handguns in the UK. These would otherwise be prohibited weapons, same as a heavy machine gun. I collect these older models from auctions which can either be from dispersal sales or people giving up or estates. Usually they turn up with no box, no tools, no spare magazine, no instruction manual, just a pistol wrapped in cloth. I’m ok with that as I want to shoot them not keep them pristine in a box.
My oldest is a 1925 Walther Olympia and my newest is my competition MatchGun MG2E. All are semi auto target pistols, which is my collecting description.
