• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

After having at least a dozen Sakos go thru my hands in the last 13 years or so...I thought I should try and hang on to a few...I have an AI in .17 Remington and an AV in 270 and an AV 375 H&H in a Laminate stock...all three shown.

Since the pics were taken I've scoped the 270 with a Leupold 3-9X and the 375 with a 2.5-8X Leupold, all in Leupold rings. I have a set of old Sako windage adjustable rings still in the cardboard box for the AI but I'm looking for a suitable scope.

They aren't collectable L series rifles but I like them...

I also have another AV Hunter in 300 Win Mag, not shown, and enroute to me is a mint 30-06 AV Classic, also not shown.....looking for a nice AII.....

Looks like my old 375 H&H has been well taken care of.
yes,..the 375 has found a new home in a laminate stock.....added a pound of much needed weight to the rifle...

Received my AV Classic in 30-06 today...it's very pristine...I was told it has fired three rounds.
