Just picked up a Finnbear L61R, serial 10### in 30-06. From what I read on the Sako website, I think that places it around 1962-63. It is in wonderful shape and appears to have been well cared for, although the previous owner put a limb saver pad on. The rifling looks bright and it shows very little sign of use or wear. The bolt, safety and trigger are smooth as a Swiss watch. I’ll get around to replacing the pad at some point.

This is my second L61R. The other year I bought a 1973 Harrington & Richardson model 333 Ultra Rifle with a Fajen stock and Douglas premium barrel. I realized then just how well made these Sako actions are.
