Were the M78 22 Hornet barrels threaded or pinned to the action? Thanks.

Can't speak for the M78 Hornet but my P72 .22 magnum is pinned.

I love those little guns but that pinned barrel gave me the fits back when they came out.

I've also got a M78. I have tried and repeatedly failed to remove the barrel! Has anyone been able to get their barrel off? Mine is pinned on and I was able to get the pin out, but am stuck at this point. Anyone know if they are press fitted or threaded in addition of the pin. Of course, each of those options will require a very different next step. If threaded, left or right threads?

    Thanks eveyone!
