I plan to post a introduction shortly as I am new to the Sako family. In the meantime I have acquired a L579 Deluxe serial # 74,xxx in .308 and the locking screw to the firing pin (exposed screw at the very back of bolt) is it rough shape. Can anyone advise where I might be able to obtain a replacement screw? Thanks HH

    No problem.

Just be sure to use a well-fitting screwdriver blade, to tighten into bolt sear........as they're easily broken.

Once snugged down......add two drops of clear fingernail polish on top of the screw. It will assure the screw's setting, and can be easily removed if needed.

    BTW.......NO lock-tite......ever!!

    Hope this helps.
