I have a nice deluxe L461 in .222 say 97 - 98% maybe 99, well, I also have someone who wants to purchase it. I haven't made up my mind if I want to sell. It's a safe queen. I am looking for advice on what the ballpark retail value of this rifle is?

    Thanks for any advice.

Randy. Whatever the buyer is willing to pay that will make you happy. Sakojim.

The value is highly subjective. Factors like whether it has a Bofors marked barrel, all original finish and parts, condition of pad, and the appearance of the wood grain (in the eye of the buyer) all will make a significant difference. There is simply no one "right" answer. However, I haven't seen a L461 Deluxe in decent condition go for less than $1,000 in some time, so you might consider that a baseline.

Did you have a Rihimaki heavy barrel action 222 that was missing some parts you wanted to sell?
