Hi,
After what seemed a life time, (three weeks) I got the L46 yday. UK
weather has been cold with some snow and basically I couldn't drive
the 5 hour round trip to get the gun and be sure of a return time to
pick kids up from school etc. Anyway yday there was enough of a break in
the weather and my schedule to make the run. I now have L46 Hornet #
15427 safely in the cabinet. It looks great. I am very pleased. Thank
you Stonecreek and Misako50 for the advice to go for it and trade in the
P75. The L46 feels great when you shoulder it, a very pointable little
rifle. I will shot it as soon as I can, so the local foxes should tread
carefully around my goosepen ! Ditchdogger I hope you find your L46,
because this indeed was the same rifle you were looking at. Sorry about
that. Apparently the day I commited to buying the gun an austrailian
also called the shop looking to buy it. So in the spirit of the site if I
ever decide to sell it I will offer it here first.
That being said, There is a website here in UK called Guntrader.co.uk .
Under rifles, 22 Hornet, there is advertised a L46 that has serial
number # 1030 ! It is screwcut, but the pictures look pretty good.
Obliviously this came to my attention only after I committed to buying #
15427 ! I still might trade out mine if the seller's more detailed
pictures look good. Otherwise good luck gentlemen. It would be good to
see a L46 go to a good home on this site, if i don't pick it up first.
Best Regards,
Rowdy
