• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Joe,
According to my info date of manufacture is late 1987. Can't help much with the rest of your question as I'm not familiar with the US market. Is it a heavy bbl or std bbl? Dug.

Dug- I tried to e mail you but the message bombed out. Do you have any Sako serial # production date information you could send me? I have some earlier production info, but none from the eighties. Thanks.

Dug - Thank you for the information on the manufacturing date. My rifle has a light (standard?) weight barrel. By the way, where are you? Your comment about "not being familiar with the US market makes me wonder. Thanks again. Joe/

I have a Sako Model P75 in 22 Hornet. I have only seen two others like it in all the years I've been collecting Sakos. I'm interested in finding out its value. I've never seen it listed in a gun book. Can anyone help? Thanks

Wonderful little rifle. I have owned one in the past, and ran across a few others at shows etc. Since quality has ranged from excellent to poor (unfortunately the one I owned) I have seen ranges of around $375 to $575. This is just what I have witnessed and since I don't have a Blue Book at my finger tips take it for what it is worth.
