I have a first generation .308 I recently picked up with a broken hammer. I found a hammer, took the gun apart and now I cannot seem to figure out how to get it back together properly. I think my issue is the gear timing or position. It seems like it is 1 tooth off from working properly. Is their some master trick I must learn? I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with this thing? I’m 8 hours in and about to pull my hair out please advise..... thanks in advance!
