• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi All

Here is a website that you can use to pay for anything firearms related, Unlike PayPal. Easy to use & sign up is free. I already used it on Gunbroker.

I agree Gregg- It was real easy to sign up an a bit less expensive than PayPal. I believe it is a transformation and reorganization of BidPay that didn't get enough early support that was sorely needed. This set up is a winner if we will use it.-Misako

Gregg,
Thanks for the great find. I quit using PayPal a long time ago. They just got too lousy after they were acquired by eBay. I hope the gun merchants will widely recognize this form of payment as time goes on.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I found this GunPal website from KoKopelli Products. Many gun merchants are now using this form if payment making it easier to purchase firearms related products. Our member Hayseed directed me to KoKopelli Products, have a look. Great stuff. I bought the scope bars to properly align my scope. Thanks Hayseed.

Gregg,
I signed up, too. Hope the sellers on the auction sites implement use of the system. Would sure make the cashier's check thing less of a pain and save a lot of time. I looked at the link. Interesting stuff. Doesn't Hayseed own that company :wink2:?
