Border barrels

    Do or did SAKO at any point use Border Stainless barrels?

    I highly doubt it. Sako has had their own barrel making equipment pretty much from the start, longer than they have had the capability to make receivers, so I see no reason to source barrels from outside.

    What makes you ask?

    Guys in some Danish forum indicates that SAKO may have have used Border stainless barrels at least in the early SAKO stainless days!

    Maybe those are the barrels on the Finnlights that were splitting when fired?:confused:
