Maybe a long shot here but I am looking for a .243 (.473 rim) bolt to swap for my 6PPC Sako 75 (Sako III) Varmint as I am re-barreling to 6 Creedmoor (.472 rim)

I do not plan on altering my PPC bolt or the barrel, just doing a bolt and barrel swap.

Thought I'd check here first for any helpful lead on aquiring one before contacting Sako or a dealer.

Thanks in advance for any help

Shouldn't need a new bolt! Your smith should be able to open up the bolt face to accept the larger rim diameter. It's only about .033" or so bigger, which would be only .017" around the circumference. Extractor should work with no or little modification as well. That action & bolt was built for the .473 rim diameter to start with. The only difference is your bolt face was cut for the .44" diameter rim of the PPC case, so it should be a very easy mod.
