• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

My October moose hunt is coming up fast, I ordered a new Bell & Carlson Carbelite stock with the magnum lug and Pachmayr recoil pad in olive/black spiderweb for my L61R 375H&H from Stocky's back in Feb...checked on it a week ago and my order on Bell & Carlson's end seems to have come up missing...so the six week wait starts again...I guess maybe a high end customer needed that stock ASAP....Bummer
It should be a sweet set-up when the stock gets here, and no worries of beating up my mint wood stock,,the wait is killing me ....

0710point....sorry to hear of your "back order blues"...But a nice bull Moose will make the wait worth while!...I would like to see how your 375 turns out in its new stock, Could ya please post some pictures if you would!:bigsmile3:-Bloo

you will probably want to glass bed it, I bought one for a 243, first time taking it to the range, I broke the recoil bolt, way too much play in the recoil lug, and I did not notice it, or it was induced in just a few shots.
Anyway, I bedded mine (accuglass kit from Brownells) and am very pleased.
you may want to check the fit at the recoil after a couple of shots, and take an extra set of action screws, just in case,
good luck!

My stock was waiting here when I got home today, it is the Cabelite by Bell&Carlson with the magnum reinforcement in the lug area and a Pachmayr Decelerator pad. I did some casting clean-up with some files and had to do some fitting on the left side of the barrel channel. It looks good, I'll try to get some shooting in soon...Roy

0710point, Congrats on the new stock! The wait is over and the rifle looks Great in its new stock, can't wait to hear/ see how is groups!!!-Bloo
