• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi All

While out deer hunting, I took this beautiful fox with my 270. Still shoots as the day I bought it.

Hi Sala

I used a .270, 130 grain ballistic tip Fed Prem ammo. I have used this ammo for deer for many years. Not my choice for fox so I shot very low not to do a lot of damage & hit him just right.. You never know what your may see while deer hunting so it's just a bonus.

Thanks Gregg, Figured it was a pretty flat shooter at that distance. Good placement, too. Now go get that trophy buck!

Hi Hayseed

I am going to do a full mount. When I get to the taxidermist he will show me some mounting options & I'll take it from there.

Gregg- Great shooting!- Like a deer at 1200 Yds. I will have to find my "fox" recipe and send it to you. I haven't used it since I was single and in my 40s

Hi Mike

Fox recipe?? I don't know if i want it!! I put him in the freezer till I get to the taxxidermy. He said only for a few weeks because the tips of the ears will freezer burn & break off, very delicate the fox ears he said. I'm happy my eyes are holding up for these distance shots. Can you imagine hitting a deer a 1200 yards.!!
