I have a Sako AV in 308 Norma magnum. I understand that is a long action. would that action fit into a Sako 85 long action stock or a Sako 75 V stock. GRS that I am looking at does not list AV.

    Thanks Robert

Simply stated, no they do not interchange. The AV utilities a traditional recoil lug, while the 75 and 85 use a modified system where the lug is not affixed. There are other aspects of the action styles which do not allow for drop in as well. There are several photos online which would show the drastic difference.

No, the A-V and Model 85 are completely different actions and the stocks won't come close to interchanging. A stock for an L61R or A-III will fit your A-V by slightly lengthening the action tang recess.
