• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Thank you!
There are lots of neat Sakos here; thanks to everyone who show stuff to drool over!

Hawki,
Absolutely beautiful rifle, As said, great caliber, too. Is that a hang tag behind it? Would you mind sending one of the admins a picture of it so we can add it to our hangtag database we are working on for forum members?
Thanks,
S-A

S-A,

I believe L61 put my hang tags (for 2 HB Vixens, not the Weatherby) as a sticky in the General Topics section.

If they need posted somewhere else, or if the pictures are not legible, I will gladly provide that information!

Nate

hawki,
We copied them into the database we are working on. Thanks for the heads-up though.
Regards,
S-A

I bought a Sako hunter AV 300 Weatherby with a 24 inch barrel.back in 1993. I sold the wood stock

and bought a McMillan drop in Sako Classic style black glass stock. This stock fit so well it was scary! Like I had sent the barreld action to McMillan to have it fitted. So far it's been a safe queen. Grizz

Yeah! yeah! lets see...Not much to look at blued steel, black stock, no scope. I'm looking forward to when I get set up to post photos of of all my favorite Sakos. My Safari grade, my classic grade 7MM Rem Mag (my work horse big game rifle) a halfe dozen or so varmint rifles. By the way, I'm in the process of picking up another AII varmint in 22-250. This is the one with the target trigger, and the concave crown. Real low round count. No wonder I can't afford a digital camera!
