Here's something you don't see every day - an H&R 300 Ultrarifle on an L61R action. Caliber is .30-06. Very few of these were made, as most of the long-action H&R rifles were built on FN actions. Like the H&R-Sakos built on L579 actions, this rifle has a round-top action without the Sako dovetails. The rifle appears to me to be all original and in excellent condition, but I do not pretend to be an expert on this seldom-seen variation. The original Williams sights are present. The sight hood is missing, but Williams hoods are easily found. It has the correct H&R buttplate. Current bid is $595; I expect it to go higher. I'm on the fence; I'd love to have it but I really don't need another '06.
