• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Another gunbroker special offering

Sako Collectors Club Discussion Forum

Throw the white cotton gloves on for a bit more wow factor. 7 bids so far.

Lest we not overlook the “magna-ported & threaded” feature. Was this done to make her* louder in public to be less offensive with a useless optional feature of trying to silence her* afterwards. Must be some genius stuff going on that may need further analysis.

I am more troubled by Spaher's bitter rant on Plastic surgery than the offered rifle, but thanks for sharing!

Actually, if one could buy it for the right price & stick a new stainless barrel on it, it could be a very nice looking custom rifle at a bargain price. All depends are the hammer price. The wood & workmanship is top notch. Wonder if the action & rings are just polished in the white or if they are plated or Cerakoted? Right now the stock alone is worth more than the current bid. That trigger shoe looks like a Canjar!!!!!

Some of the work including the stock does appear pretty well executed-I wouldn’t have an issue if it was simply described properly as the “custom” that it is.

It fries my ass when I see sellers completely and perhaps purposefully misrepresent their goods. If uneducated, then how hard is it to do some research. In about 5 minutes, even a newby can determine the rifle is not the “ultra rare” specimen being claimed it is.

I also realize it’s caveat emptor for the buyers who are “in” at this time.

Shipping in a non branded soft case!?
May as well wrap it in newspapers …
It is a very attractive custom.
The threaded barrel and magna-porting , for whatever reason, has me thinking …
Snort-wheeze!

Impossible to tell for sure, but I'm thinking satin nickel or even maybe French gray.

Somebody spent a pile of money building that rifle, that's for sure!

Spaher is dead on about the idiocy of the ported and threaded barrel.
