Here's how a current ad on Guns International reads:

SAKO FINBEAR L61 DELUXE CALIBER 30-06 MADE IN 1962 FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION
    https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...first-year-of-production.cfm?gun_id=101521161

At least one SCC member has commented on unsatisfactory dealings with this seller, although I have no experience with him myself, so make no representations. However, it should be called to the attention of Sako enthusiasts who care about such things that it was 1961, not 1962, which was the first year of production for the L61R. Also, the serial number of this rifle checks out as inspected in November of 1963, so not only is it not from the first year of production, but is not even from the year it is represented to be.

The seller probably doesn't know and obviously doesn't care. But putting information like this in an ad helps create confusion about such things and often causes hard feelings when one person is relying on misinformation and another is relying on fact.
