I'm new to Sako...and only one real thing has me from pulling the trigger on the Sako 85 30-06. That is the Picatinny rail. Why the Picatinny rail? I want to add to it a new scope the Burris Eliminator III Laser Scope.
The Scope has a 40 MOA.
The Scope also only attaches to a Picatinny Rail or Weaver...but I'd prefer Picatinny Rail.
According to Shooters Calculator a 30-06 180 grain has a 35.64 MOA drop at 1000 yards.
Because of this I am in need of a quality 20 MOA Picatinny Rail for the Sako 85 for 30-06. It obviously has to be 20 MOA for long range shots due to the scope only haveing a 40 MOA...so that would be 20 MOA down for long range shots...but you get the picture.
TLDR: I can't seem to find a good quality 20 MOA Picatinny Rail for the Sako 85 30-06 for the Burris Eliminator II Laser Scope.
Thank you for all your help!
