• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

I've been telling these guys for a long time what nice rifles they are....Anyone who reads this post, please look at Sakoalbertas 375. It is sensational. I am thunderstruck. Makes mine look like a crapper.......what would you take for the thing? Regards, Rick.

I give up. Other than it's a nice Sako (they all are), what's fantastic? I like the grain in the wood but iy's not even a Deluxe. Take a look at some of the older L61R's in the Deluxe model. Now those are FANTASTIC. Then again, as I said earlier, ALL Sako's are great rifles.

It is perfect for me and my tastes. I actually prefer the 'hunter' look to some of the deluxe models. I own several of each and my favorites are the dark deluxes(see my .416 deluxe pics) and the hunters. I like the lighter deluxes but they are not my favorites. As you said, they are all nice!

I agree 100 %. Some of the deluxe stocks look like crap. At one time, they had the great fiddleback wood and somehow they evaporated in the late 60's. Many of the early Stoegers are sensational. Regards, Rick.

Thanks SakoBear. I think I have 18 Sakos (1986-1996) now. I'll try to get pics of them all up sometime in the next few weeks. Many are quite plain Hunters but a few are quite nice. I'm like you-I love to see as many as I can.
