1971 L579 Deluxe .308 Garcia? or PreGarcia? or not?

I know from internet research that the Pre Garcia guns are not necessarily any better than the recent guns, but I started collecting them 15-20 years ago and they still seem to command higher prices. The serial number, although not real clear, appears to show AV and not AIII. I like the look of the classic Deluxe stock with the rosewood forearm cap. Thanks for the information.
