I just had a quick look as I had a late model L46 barrelled action on the bench (long magazine Hornet that I’d assume is the same length as the L469 ?) and a L461/AI stock on hand.Finnish Boyd dealer says: Sako L46 and L469 Boyds The Sako A1 log can be customized under certain boundary conditions:L46, as a rule, works only the latest version of the weapon, caliber 222 Rem. Older ones have a shorter lock frame. The distance between the support screws from the centre to the centre must be 158 mm.Both guns have a loose magazine. The chest of drawers does not fit the Sako A1 butt. The "spacer" on the road must be removed from the log, otherwise easy to install. There is little space on the pages of the magazine due to the different shape of the lower iron (cosmetic problem).??
Kiitos vastauksesta! Olen Rovaniemellä. Purin alkuperäisen tukin irti ja ajattelin tehdä siitä vahatukin näin alkuun.I just had a quick look as I had a late model L46 barrelled action on the bench (long magazine Hornet that I’d assume is the same length as the L469 ?) and a L461/AI stock on hand.
The L461/AI action screws are approximately 5mm further apart than the L46, the L46 action being that much shorter will also leave a gap in the stock at the barrel/action junction. The late model L46 barrel appears that it would fit into the L461 barrel channel ‘ok’, though without modifying the floor plate/trigger area it won’t drop in.
Even if you were to crudely accomodate those things, the root of the bolt handle won’t line up in the L461 stock.
Osku, I see you are from the motherland.
If you can’t manage to find a factory stock over there, from what I’ve seen, there is no shortage of extremely talented craftsmen that could make what ever you wanted…
