• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

    Tikka M65 Deluxe in 308

As identified elsewhere and confirmed several times .... Tikka did make an m65 in 308 as well as the m55 308w chambering. I do not know which of the several models of the long action m65 were chambered in 308 ... but certainly at least one.

New (to me) M65 - Crown Damage?

Chase other possibilities before the crown (that you show) .... while it is 'possible' the crown is the culprit - I agree with others that suggest other factors likely at work. This is based on having witnessed a rifle that looked like someone had driven a large 'lag' screw into the muzzle - and...

    Tikka M55 info

Based on my 'layman's' observation of the M55/LSA55 action ... be aware of a couple of things about the '55. The left hand action raceway is not obstructed (when the action is in battery) by any lug or shroud.... as a result a case (or primer) that lets go and releases gas 'could' find its way...

    Tikka M-55 Action

HI ... I cant answer your question about the factory availability of Tikka 'M' actions only and in the wite. Certainly Sako brochures of the AV and L61 era illustrated actions as available ... none of the few brochures for the Tikka 'M' series that I have seen have advertised just the actions as...
