• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

    Yet another P94S question

My P94S has a small, I think, plastic band where the barrel meets the receiver. It doesn't seem to perform any function, but the stock is inletted around it so I assume it goes all the way around the barrel. On my rifle this band has come loose--it probably split or cracked somewhere I can't...

    P94S 10 Round Magazine

My thinking exactly. I'd like to keep my P94 for the long haul (had it since around 1996). 1 hole groups @50yds.

    P94S 10 Round Magazine

Has anyone tried the factory 10 round mags for the P94? How do they function? I'm on the fence as to whether to just get another 5 round or get the 10.

    P72 Questions

Thanks icebear, I don't have the rifle yet, but carefully comparing photos it looks like the stock on "mine" is not cut, the pad is just added on.

    P72 Questions

Thanks. Looking at other photos on the web, I think the finish is original. Is the value of the gun diminished by the aftermarket pad?

    P72 Questions

New member here. About to close a deal on a P72. The one I'm interested in has a matte finish stock and instead of the plastic butt plate I'm familiar with from other Sakos I've owned, it has a recoil pad, looks a bit like a Pachmeyer decelerator. Did the P72 ever come from the factory like...

About to close a deal on a P72 in 22lr and came here for information. Seemed like a good time to sign up for membership. I'm a film maker and photographer by trade, have also logged many hours in restaurant kitchens over the years. I'm pretty committed to fitness and rural living--hiking...
