Hey All!
Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board.
They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things.
The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to.
DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES!
They often state something like this:
”Hello!
Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]”
If you receive any strange messages:
Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not.
Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out!
Beware of anything that might seem fishy!
And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username.
You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our!

i have several rifles using ringmounts and they are 100% dependable
nowhere can there heights be found so here is some info
30mm ringmounts will mount your scope 3mm lower than extra low rings ontop of bases
25mm or inch will be 23.15mm from rifle to scope centre
Hi again all I acquired a mint condition gloss VX1 3-9x40 and a new set of low windage adjustable optilock rings from same period as the rifle All fitted and well suited
You have some nice rifles as well
The ironic thing with mine is i wanted one to use not protect with my life 20 years i have wanted a good one abd have rejected so many The one good one i find and its too good to hunt with it came with original paperwork as well even its like new
I have purchased a very nice 1972 sako finnwolf and I'm wishing to put a period scope on its back What was offered at that time and in what rings I really wish to keep it as authentic as possible

yes that little screw is at the rear or the breech opening both bases need to be pushed forward till contact on pins and then lock them down You can just see it in the above picture
