• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi Kirk, for some reason the link doesn't work for me. What is your friend's username on Guns Int'l? Thanks.

Thank you, I've been watching a couple of those guns on GI for quite some time. There are some interesting pieces there for sure.

I've watched Mike's items on GI for quite a while. Never seen as many Deluxe models as he has on there now. Some very nice examples but he does seem to be very proud of them too. Is he clearing out his personal collection?

When you look at his selection you will see that most are not “bread and butter” common guns. There are 2 Hornets and rare Swift deluxe as well as Bofors marked 22-250 deluxe.

I have decided I have got to quit acquiring guns myself or there would be several he has that I would want. 4 pages of high condition rifles that you won’t find even at Louies just down the street in Hamilton, Montana. I doubt you will ever see this many nice guns available at one time again...

I know what you mean. That 264 Bofors Deluxe has me drooling. He must have had two of them cause he sold one last summer. My problem is that I have to shoot mine. Some of his look too nice to shoot. Now, if he just had a 7 X 57......LOL

I spoke with him this morning and many Sakos have been sold. Four I questioned him about were sold. Did buy one deluxe though. Thanks for heads up as I do check his listings occasionally.

very nice stuff. Better get 'em while the gettin' is good !!! I'm all SAKO-ed out, and only buy the really rare stuff and one-of-a-kinds. Stuff I've never seen before, basically.
